Gave up after two cuts

This product is awful and I’m not going to give it the time of day to write too much.
It gave up on our second cut and just doesn’t start anymore. Absolute waste of time.

Used twice and have had enough. The pins holding the handle keep coming out, and it is a nightmare to mow even my small lawn. Purchased as lightweight and I have arthritis, but it is causing problems...not resolving them.
Do not recommend

Used it twice and handle has detached both times. First time I thought I hadn't put it together properly but the problem is shoddy plastic pins which don't stay in place. Taking it back tomorrow! Flymo used to be so good, what's happened?.
Work well for regularly maintained lawns

I was hesitant to buy this model due to the poor reviews here and elsewhere but it has been working just fine for me.
It only takes a few minutes to assemble out of the box. The instructions are not very visual but they are clear, if you take a few minutes to read them properly. Cutting height adjustment is via undoing a bolt on the bottom of the blade and adding or removing plastic spacer rings. This only takes about a minute but requires gloves and that you are organised and don't lose the spacers or spanner.
It is lightweight and glides well when the grass is short to medium length and the lawn is generally in good or fair condition. It is much easier to handle on the slopes than my previous heavy wheeled mower. It doesn't work well at all when the grass is: damp, long, or in patchy or lumpy tufts.
The collection box is small but works well when used in the conditions described above. I haven't had any problems with the plastic pins that attach the handle but I can see why they might be a weak point and have failed for some people. My plan if these fail is to replace with metal bolts and washers.
I would say this is best suited for someone with a small to medium sized lawn and the time to cut it regularly. If you have a large or rough lawn, or often find yourself tackling damp or long grass then a hover mower isn't for you.

I really wish B&Q stopped selling these products because they do not work
