Not impressed, not a fan of the hover mower.
A very disappointing purchase, not easy to lift to hover and does not glide well at all. Will not be buying one of these again.

Decent mower
Replaced my previous hover which I had for years and loved , it served me well ha. This one is very similar just a few updates, fixed lid, metal blade & more powerful . Must say I liked my old one better as it had little plastic blades which make the mower lighter to lift & I feel cut better, I’m sure I’ll get used to this one

Good mower but the odd problem
Good points: cuts well with the 3 spacers on, though it would be easier if it came with them on rather than making the user add them. Light and easy to move. Handle on both sides (a must-have, as I have arthritis in hands.) Dropped a point because: the handle doesn't fold in the middle and the mechanism for moving it back at the base doesn't work once you've used it and there is grass in the mechanism; there is nowhere to store the cable; the cable is too short (10m is ridiculous for anything but the tiniest garden, and the next mower sizes up still only have 10m); the catch to hold the collector lid in place when the mower is hanging up doesn't work properly (poor, cheap design).

Perfect for my medium sized lawn.
Previously had the smaller version of the mower for over 6 years until the switch in the handle gave up. This bigger version is great for my medium size lawn and folds away nicely in the shed. Very happy with it.

Good,basic model,does the job
I bought this model recently due to my previous Flymo finally becoming unrepairable. I have not been disappointed, it's a basic model with a very nice grass box, medium size and perfect for my two lawns, front and back. My only slight niggle is that it isalittle bit heavy when negotiating corners,otherwise it is fine, does a nice cut.

Does the job
I bought this to 'replace' my Hover Vac 280, which, although still works, a component came off the top of the machine (above the motor) so it now judders and I couldn't find anyone local to repair it (after buying the 270, I still intend to try). This 270 does the job on our small lawn, not as well as the 280 and whilst I thought that mower was small, this one is like a toy by comparison! Again, to be fair, it does the job. What I don't like about the 270 is the fact that there seem to be a hundred nooks and crannies for grass to get stuck in, which makes even light cleaning difficult. There's also a plastic grid/mesh under the orange lid which, although has a purpose, also serves to 'trap' grass and is another thing to clean. Also, I'm not happy that the deck is made of a softer grey plastic than the rigid more robust orange plastic, again, as found on the 280's deck, so when you use a scraper to clean the underside of the deck around the blade and impellers, it is in danger of digging into the plastic. I might improvise next time with an old plastic kitchen spatula or similar. In summary, it does the job on a very small lawn, which is what it's intended for, but I'd invest or repurpose a little set of nook and cranny brushes to help clean off the accumulated grass after each mowing session. You could let it build up and do it every now and again, but I suspect this would just be storing up problems (not to mention reduced mowing efficiency) for later.

Typical Flymo does the job
Very plastic, but fine for my small garden. The fittings need tightening regularly, so prepare !

Worst mower Ive ever bought!
And I thought the original Black and Decker rotary mower I bought in the 70's was bad but this takes the biscuit It doesn't hover! It doesn't cut grass. It's a complete joke If I thought that I could get a refund I'd take it back but I think it would be a waste of time and effort. The old saying is true. "LET THE BUYER BEWARE"
