Nice but needs extra work
Very nice smooth finish. However the various parts do need some work to get them to fit precisely. Some screw holes were not aligned correctly etc. Happy with the end result given the reasonable price.

End product looks good
I bought this last month and it has been a nightmare to assemble even with the help of a qualified carpenter. Mitre joints were out of sync leaving large gaps when assembled. Had to take apart and reassemble twice! Think twice about purchasing this product!

Terrible quality
If I could give this product a 0 star I would. I got the first delivery and upon checking there was a huge crack down one of the legs so I called and this was quickly exchanged for a new one. My second surround arrived, checked this one and all the paint was bubbled and it looked like it hadn't been sanded before being painted white. So again I called and they offered another exchange, they assured me that this one would be quality checked before it was sent. Third one arrived which was even worse quality! Paint drips all over, cracks marked tops absolutely shocking! Not only that I was told collection would be made of the damaged surrounds that still hasn't been made so now I have 3 of them stacked up in my house getting in the way. I can understand one item slipping through being damaged but 3 is completely unacceptable.

Great design
I bought this a few weeks ago and we are delighted with it. I had intended making another fire surround as I have made two in the past. However, we bought this surround and the price was good. As I said, delighted.

Stunning
I had looked for a long while at various fireplace suites and thought many were very overpriced for quality as well as how they looked. I am delighted I decided to purchase this surround from B&Q along with the black granite hearth and back panel. It is great quality and looks fantastic and has been very much admired.The installer found it very easy to put together so no problems with that part of it either. B&Q service was also a great experience I would not consider going anywhere else for big purchases you can buy with confidence from them as you are valued as a customer.

Really good product
I bought to finish my living room after changing colour scheme from oaks and creams to greys and whites. It has really brightened up the room making it look spacious. Very pleased with it and great value for money
