Worked Well.
Bought this for patch priming a galvanised up and over garage door as a special metals primer was required. Did the job great, grabbed to the bare metal well and subsequent coats bonded well with this primer. Would recommend.

Aluminium? No. I'm so annoyed!
I bought this to paint aluminium sheet. It doesn't bond to it. You can scratch it of lightly with a fingernail. Now I've got to clean it all off and use something else. At least it comes off easy - the hardest part is keeping the sandpaper clean. If you're painting aluminium AVOID this product. I've since been advised to use "self etching primer", which this is not.

Excellent on bare copper pipes
I bought this primer en-spec, having never heard of Fortress. My previous experience of a water soluble primer was a bad one, leaving copper pipes oxidised to a lovely green colour which permiated into the top coat. This primer covered well and remained white. Brushes took a little more cleaning but all paint came out in the end just washing in water. Highly recommended!
