Looks nice, too much cable
I have 10 foot ceilings, I still have a ridiculous amount of excess cable, where is it supposed to go? I assume I’m not supposed to cut the cable?

Looks great. Wiring needs addressing.
It looks great once installed. My only gripe (thus the four stars instead of five) is that the wiring in the light fitting isn't colour coded. They're both sealed in clear insulation. This is going to be a problem if you need to cut the wire. It comes with a connector attached to the end of the wire and left is neutral, right is live according to the instructions so you have to follow the wire carefully along to the point were you need to cut it and tape the wires off individually so as you don't forget which is which. Also, it's not earthed. Not good seeing as the wiring is prone to being wired in backwards due to them being the same colour. I am actually surprised that this chandelier is sold in a DIY store AND has passed the electrical safely standards. Only a qualified electrician should fit this in my opinion as wiring it up is wide open to mistakes by your average DIYer and could lead to a potential electrical hazard what with it having no earth etc...

Wire too long
Nice chandalier but wire/chain too long unless you had a high ceiling would need electrician to shorten no good for normal ceiling

Fiddley but worth it
I wanted a simple Chandelier and couldn’t find one that wasn’t overly fussy. My electrician told me to check out B&Q and I immediately liked this one. It’s a shame the drops are plastic and not glass. We had a few issues putting it in, with the ceiling rose the hook was too short and it was hard to line up the arms. The bottom bowl unscrews and the arms are held in place with nuts but they were very tight and at one point we thought the fragile arm might crack with the force of trying to align it. The chain is crazy long. For reference my floor to ceiling is 9ft and I could only leave 2 links in the chain. Anyone over 6ft will just clear it. Now it’s installed I absolutely love it and think it looks very classy. Apparently the electrics part was a doddle.

Best I could find for the money
Been looking for a while at all possible avenues and many others looked full or cheap plastic. Took a chance on this and was better than expected as most of it is glass. Very long chain had to cut down and cut wire down. Only gripe was with it being class 2 no Earth the connector block is hard to seat inside the chrome top and also I had to buy a longer hook as it wasn’t long enough to reach the joist as I have lathe and plaster but overall nice light
