Looks nice, does not work very well.
My shower is now 15 months old. It only works on max heat setting on selector switch, summer and winter, the difference being more water flow in summer. The shower is not listed on the Gainsborough web site so how do I get spares. It appears a complicated electric shower, i.e. it has 4 heat settings on the heat selector, 4 heat settings on the shower head and a water flow heat setti9ng . It would be a wonderfull shower if it all worked. I suppose it is all reflected in the price, it was an extremely cheap 8.5 kw shower. I would be interested to get some feed back tp my emailo maybe I am not using it properly but I doubt it.

Looks good, Easy clean, Soap dish good if you soap
We had to change the plumbing to fit the connection, Why they don't make all pipes and electric on the same side as standard is a bit annoying, I feel the same about modern wiring and light blub fittings, however as a shower it looks pretty and does its job, Easy to clean and plenty of hose. I personally would have preferred a cylinder rail so I could angle the shower and something to hold my shower gel rather then a soap dish, also the switch is too high for my child so I have to turn it on which is a little annoy as she is 10,but I would still recommend and would rate this as a solid 9.9 out of 10 as it is good and I love a bargin, thanks gainsborough. :) Fast and efficient service incl delivery A++

Non standard fitting
Strange fitting on the inlet. I thought it was a standard Mira fitting and I could replace the shower myself. Had to get plumber in. He'd never seen the fitting before either. 2 hours to mount the shower.

Thanks! B&Q, for a great offer. I'm using a Gainsborough Electric Shower and I love it; I chose this one because it worked even at low water pressure and the ability to deliver water flow at a constant temperature through the shower from start to finish. So, when I saw the offer at B&Q, I could resist it but to buy another one for my bathroom and two more for other members of my family.

Not Described Well
Unfortunately I had to return this product. My shower has a right hand water feed at the back and this shower has a left hand water feed. Most showers are universal but this is left hand only. Please check before you buy.

Faulty on/off switch
There is a fault with the power on button. To keep the shower running we have to hold the power switch in, the switch doesn't catch!! The shower itself when running is powerful just ashame the on/off switch seems to be faulty. Will have to use our guarantee to return an arrange for a replacement which is hassle we could do without.
