Bought this bulb and it failed 1 hour after fitting.

Does what it says
Living in a new build the whole of my flat as well as the other 44 are designed to use this fitting but it is proving incredibly hard to buy. Thank goodness for B & Q.

Good service as usual
I bought this bulb and then returned to my new flat to realise the fitting is limited to 13w. I returned, refunded and got the 13w version (last one there). As usual, a trouble free experience with B&Q. 13w version works fine. It's an unusual fitting type and luckily B&Q had this type in stock as nowhere else did locally.

Energy Saving Light Bulb
I last replaced this light bulb over 6 years ago. It is comparatively expensive but reliable and cost saving due to longevity of use. I do not like that there is a time delay before the light gets up to full brightness, other than that no complaints. It has a nice modern look to it and is quite sturdy. The bulbs with the 4 pin fittings come in various physical sizes which can fit into a variety of lampshades.
