Fantastic purchase
I bought 2 of these doors recently to replace old ones and they are very good quality and look great varnished.

solid door
I bought this a few weeks ago and I am very happy with this door. It is very solid and looks nice. The veneer limits what kind of finish that can be used. I used wood stain. Service prompt. Recommended.

looks good but poor quality
I purchased this door to replace the same door I had installed 3years ago. The existing door rotted within 2years even though the preparation to install, ie prime, undercoating and gloss was done correctly. This new door has had 2 coats of prime, 2 coats of undercoating and 2 coats of gloss, lets see how long this door lasts. I had complained to B&Q regarding the existing door, sending photos of the rot, eventually I could push my finger through the frame of the door, but unfortunately because the door was purchased over 2years ago, no replacement was offered. If you are thinking of purchasing this door make sure you silicone all glazing bars and joints or rain water will penetrate the frame. You must think I am mad to replace the original door with the same, but although the door is of poor quality, its the only door that matches my small pane windows, so I am keeping my fingers crossed it will last longer than the first

Construction
A good looking door; heavy, which indicates solid construction even though 'engineered' means veneered chipboard. A one-year guarantee? How long should a door last?

Good quality
Well-made door and am sure it is far stronger than previous one. Had to pay someone to help lift it as it is too heavy for one person to fit, unless it was being done on the level. The double glazing makes the door heavier to handle.

Looks Great
It took me a long time to choose this door and I am very pleased with my choice. I am very pleased it looks lovely now its varnished. The only thing is that I found it very hard to move the marks left behind from the film on the glass after varnishing.

Good solid door.
Very pleased with this door. Well constructed and a perfect fit to the frame also purchased. Only one small critisism, the protective plastic on the glass was tatty and not a lot of help during decorating.

Door warped soon after installation
The door was prepared and fitted by qualified builders but soon started to warp at the top. I submitted a request for replacement and was eventually contacted by the manufacturers who wanted pictures of the door.,detailed measurmeents pictures of paints used. They then said a visit was required which I was happy with ,then said they didn't cover our location and referred it back to B & Q. Heard nothing so chased again and eventually they agreed to supply a replacement. Now have to use a vat registered firm to replace the new door , re fit everything and then they will consider covering this cost. As a regular customers this should have been handled better.
