Why no instructions on locating the buried on/off
Like everyone else here, I was about to return this. Had to look online for the instructions. How come you can include the battery type in every language under the sun but you can't keep space back for a simple diagram showing the switch location? Come on, B&Q, you can and usually do better than this. How many people must have returned this by now?

Needs written instructions to turn on.
Bought a few days ago and played around with it trying to get it to work. Moving it to get sufficient light in day and watching it at night in anticipation. Had to resort to online reviews in order to get it going. Was just about to return it for refund.

Try to find the ON switch!
The ON switch is under the bulb and without instruction its well hidden and practically impossible to locate without looking at the online reviews, no online link, the bulb will not work, time wasted by returning to B&Q, the assistant was very smug ' hoooo its under the bulb....' !

Good outdoor solar lantern
I bought a few last year & took them into the conservatory over winter. They are doing well this summer. One out of 6 has stopped working. But the rest are as good as new. They produce a nice strength light, are light in weight, the bulb is protected, & I found them easy to turn on. Just unscrew the bulb.

Brought this product nearly a week ago and unable to switch it on, I decided to read the reviews. I will now try and see if I can find the switch! There should be clear instructions!

Stupid place to put on/off switch
I brought one of these while taking bulb out to turn it on the bulb shattered leaving me with cuts on thumb and fingers. Wouldn't buy another one
