don't waste your money please!

I bought 2 tubs off 9L and spent 5 hours painting it on my fence and all it did was run down the fencing, there is NO colour after the first coat, so did it again and still nothing. As other reviews says if you want a very weak colour so your fence looks distressed then get it, if you don't want to be the one distressed don't buy it. I bought Caprinol and it was so easy to use. One coat looks fantastic!
AVOID ITS GASH !!

I've got a lot of fence to paint, and am on a limited budget so I was excited to find this. I initially bought a tester pot and was really impressed - nice texture, great coverage and overall lovely colour - so I went back and bought two large tubs.
Unfortunately the texture and colour in the tester pot was completely different to the large pots. I started on my shed door and 7 hours later was still applying paint. In the end I think I got up to six coats, but you can still see the original uncoated wood colour. Despite so many coats I actually used very little of the tub, not even a quarter, so I'd say buy the smaller tub first and see how get on.
It's OK if you like that kind of distressed/ beachy/ shabby chic kind of look but not if you want a strong, deep colour and coverage. It was very watery and splashes everywhere so make sure you have plenty of coverage for the floor around.
At the end of the day you get what you pay for, and if you only have a small area to do you could get away with it, but for large projects it's a no! In the end I decided to return the unopened tub and will be trying something else. Shame as the colour is exactly what I wanted, they just need to work on the texture.
Why do they even sell it?
