Excellent product at great price.
Never been too sure about floating shelves but these are excellent. The mounting was sturdy and required 10 screws but this just added to the solidity. I fitted three onto a plasterboard wall (using plugs recommended for this material and 5mm woodscrews. They went up a dream.

Not great at all.
Very cheap floating arms. Nothing is consistent or straight. If your doing a line of shelves they do not meet each other very well at all. I had to drill through the top and screw together as one shelf sat 8mm higher than the other. A lot of unnecessary messing around. These need better floating arms. If your doing a single or staggered shelves would be easier. Pu wouldn't notice the level so much. But I would buy or fit these again.

Hole in it
I had this ordered on delivery with a few other bits however when it arrived there was a hole in one side of it. Luckily I bought it for storage under my stairs so it wasn't too big a problem. Just a shame about the quality

Excellent Product, Requires Enhanced Installation
I’ve used many of these over the years despite the very mixed reviews associated with them. They are supplied with a mount which allows for the ‘floating shelf’ look. This HAS to be installed the right way up, with the two holes for the grub screws facing down towards the floor and the two metal prongs angles slightly above rather than below the horizon. This is sufficient for light weight use eg display purposes. For heavier use you MUST use the two mounting end brackets which are not supplied with this unit but ARE stocked by B&Q. They cost more than the shelf (around 17 pounds per pair) but used in conjunction with the supplied ‘floating’ bracket, you can put quite heavy weights on with confidence and the shelf looks good once it is up.

Not secure - Poor Quality
I bought two. One is of very poor quality. It droops forward on the bracket and isn't secure for any weight at all without additional securing underneath. The second shelf was slightly better but also wobbles slightly and doesn't sit well in the bracket. Both unsuitable to use as shelves.

Not fit for purpose
Followed the instructions but when completed shelf droops forwards. Wil leave in place but buy two right angle brackets to create functional shel Wish I’d read the existing reviews

Waste of money. Don’t buy
I stupidly ignored the existing reviews and purchased two of these shelves for my sons nursery. One is successfully attached to the wall but split in two places when screwing the final screws in. The second shelf is unusable as it literally slants downwards so can’t take any weight being put on it. My partner is a competent DIY-er so it is not his ability to fit the shelves which is the problem. I was told by customer services that as I bought them in-store that to return I have to take them back in the packaging but my partner had already cut them to fit a recess so we can’t return. Don’t bother with them, a complete waste of £28.

Works fine when installed correctly
I've just come to purchase another of these to compliment the two I already own. I'm pretty sure the people leaving bad reviews are installing the brackets upside down so the supports slope slightly down instead of up. I had books, plants, decorations and even a pestle and mortar on these shelves for a couple of years without issue.
