Product information
GoodHome walls and ceilings durable paint is suitable for walls, wood and metal with our toughest formulation and excellent covering power. It is extremely hard wearing so is ideal for hallways, stairwells and children's bedrooms.
- Surface Preparation - New plaster or plasterboard should be sealed with a plaster sealer. For non-powdery surfaces or to cover contrasting colours, prepare with a walls and ceilings primer. Painted surfaces should be sanded, clean and dry. Fill any holes or defects with filler. When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation. Before painting on bare wood or metal use a suitable primer. Painted glossy surfaces should be sanded thoroughly
- Instructions for Use - Stir gently before use. Apply using a brush or roller, when the temperature is between 10°C and 30°C. For best results, apply 2 coats leaving up to 4 hours between coats.
- Instructions for Storage - Store any leftover paint between 5 and 30°C. Best used within 1 year of opening.

Just the Job
Great paint. Two coats onto a cream background done just the job. Covered very well and our feature wall looks amazing. Turned out better than expected. Very happy with the result.

AWFUL! Do not waste your time or money.
On coat 6 and still patchy in places. Used this range before in two other colours never had an issue but I’ve wasted hours and hours and ran out of paint due to never ending coats needed for ONE wall!!!

Good coverage and nice finish
First time I’ve used this type of paint, the colour finish was very similar to that on the tub and it seemed to cover well compared to other paints I have used, on the whole I am impressed

Good Home Chelsea
Rubbish paint. It doesn’t even out. You can see all strokes. What a waste of money & time. Very disappointed.

Chelsea red paint
Transformedy kitchen with this truly red red paint. Easy to apply. Would recommend.

For those with time on their hands…..
I bought this paint after using several other colours of this bee and In my other child’s bedroom and all being fine. Now I know from last experience red is particularly tricky to paint with, but this was just horrendous! Streaky and patching, I even prepped and primed the wall the night before. After 3 coats in I ditched it and bought a more expensive red paint of which I only required 2 very quick coats! I could not bring myself to carry on to 6 coats to realise it was still patchy! It gets better each coat. It I just didn’t have the time to waste!

Nice bold red
Some of the people reviewing this paint must need a lesson in painting as this paint is great. It goes on easily with no drips and has good coverage. Looked good after 2 coats but did a 3rd for good measure seeing as had plenty left in the tin.

Prepare for hard work
This colour is amazing BUT.. I bought this durable version after using the normal version and getting on fine with that. This paint is more watery. I finally finished my 4th coat at midnight yesterday in the hope I would wake up and finally it would be non patchy. Could have cried when I saw there were still patches and a 5th coat is now needed. So if you have the patience, then its worth it to cos the colour is lovely.
