I have used good home paint before with good results, but this has been shockingly awful. Over a mid to lighter grey wall, 7 coats later, it is still patchy, wish I had never started. Did report it to the staff at the store, the supervisor was unimpressed with my comments and scowled all the way through. If you want this colour find another brand.

Highly recommend

So I bought this for the name ( and colour obviously ) daughter lives in Toronto . I am that easy a sell! Was worried when I checked the reviews BUT this paint is Brilliant !! It covers so well and is a great colour on the wall . So pleased I am buying more to use in other rooms . I have used all the brand name paints but I found this one to be the best coverage out of any so far . Well done B and q

Steer clear

Having used the durable Good home white & minneapolis with excellent results, I thought I'd use Toronto for another room. Coverage is terrible.... 3 coats later over magnolia was still framing. 4 coats in total for paint thats supposed to be their premium range. Very poor!

Good but poor opacity ie covering power

It applies really well and is good value for a durable paint but this particular colour has poor opacity and needs extra coats. It’s okay if painting over a similar colour but if changing colour it take a lot of coats, in fact you would be better putting white on first then allowing at least 3 coats which then makes it poor value for money. It’s not helped by the poor colour representation in the B&Q colour card, it’s hit a misty what colour you end up with - I thought this was a Magnolia colour and it turned out to be a light butttermilk colour.
