When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation

Brilliant paint. Do your research.
I’m a single mum, with not a lot of time on my hands. I don’t know why people…even professionals are complaining about this paint. It doesn’t take long to do this. If you learn how to use it to begin with then you will get the desired effect. I’m no professional… but I do all my own DIY. I may not know everything, but I do know that you cannot use this paint as a normal paint. That isn’t what it is designed for. It is supposed to be put on with cris cross brushstrokes, therefore producing an effect similar to hammered metal. It will take 3 coats and time for it to dry. Don’t rush it. This is an old building and I don’t cover all the chips and bits out of the wall even though a shiny paint will show them. Like I say, I’m not a professional and I’m not doing it for anyone else, so I’m very happy with it. This is why you research things before you buy a product and try to use it.

Great paint
Great finish true silver colour needs 2 coats at least

Great paint when used correctly
If used correctly, this looks great. I bought it yesterday and applied in the typical way of rolling up and down, and it was insanely patchy. I then ready the instructions saying to paint in zig zags, and on 3rd coat it's starting to look amazing. Another coat should do.

Worst paint ever
Bought to paint bedroom. Worst paint ever. Very watery and coverage is extremely poor. After several coats it still looks awful and can see all the roller marks. Please do not buy.

Very Poor paint
After mixing the paint still did not cover,so I left it to dry and reapplied, still not covering and looks streaky. Coat no three still streaky when dry. One star rating is to high

Mix well
I found this paint ok to use. As long as you thoroughly mix it and not apply it heavy. To accomplish an even out tone.

Do not buy
I bought this and had a professional decorator apply it 4 coats later and it's still looking bad,it's streaky, doesn't go on the wall very well at all. Please do not buy this and waste your money.

Terrible, do not buy this product. very poor.
Had different metallic paint before without issue. This product is very poor, more like paint to put on your flat roof for waterproofing and not for interior walls! B&Q should remove this and get something that works as expected. Do not buy this paint.
