GoodHome Glitter Effect paint is perfect for feature walls and children's bedrooms, offering a stylish subtle shimmer with a wipeable finish.

- Suitable for use on Wall & ceilings
- Surface Preparation - New plaster or plasterboard should be sealed with a plaster sealer. For non-powdery surfaces or to cover contrasting colours, prepare with a walls and ceilings primer. Painted surfaces should be sanded, clean and dry. Fill any holes or defects with filler. When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation
- Instructions for Use - Pour the glitter into the paint and mix thoroughly. Stir regularly during use. You can use a brush or roller, when the temperature is between 10°C and 30°C. Best used within 48 hours of adding the glitter. For best results, apply 2 coats leaving 4 hours in between coats
- Instructions for Storage - Store any leftover paint between 5 and 30°C. Best used within 48 hours of adding the glitter

I am so pleased with the result it almost looks like a subtle sparkly velvet . Highly recommend this so easy to apply with great coverage.

Silver Glitter not Gold as Shown.
Bought this as liked the idea of a hint of gold, but the glitter is silver. Plus pot is only half full. Very deceiving. As when you read it it does say 2l but it’s in a 4l pot. Very poor value for money and incorrect glitter colour. Store said to write a review as nothing they could do.

Waste of money
Loved the colour. First tub came out in huge bubbles all over the wall before the glitter. Had to sand down and treat the wall. Second tub did exactly the same. Eventually got rid of the bubbles and did the glitter coat. The glitter is really patchy. Had to use a cloth to rub down the wall so you can see the glitter. Still really patchy. Taken 4 tubs, lots of cloths and a massive amount of effort for a very disappointing result. I was expecting a lovely glittery wall, instead I got a bubbly, patchy mess.

Glitter paint
The lovely man at Chorley said , paint without the glitter , when about a third left, then add the glitter, was not told this when I bought first pot at Southport, so ended up buying more glitter to add to paint, also no instructions on pot. Am pleased with colour and glitter effect, after I had added more glitter. Should be better instructions

Great colour but need to buff the glitter
We bought this on site without tester pots as we both instantly liked the colour as seen. Its for a small porch area and we've used glitter paint before. We put on two coats before adding the glitter it looked good with the matt finish, although having gone from lime green to this took some getting used to as it was much darker. We did another two coats with the glitter. Having used glitter paint before heres a TIP which wasn't mentioned on the minimal instructions - wait until its very dry - day or two, before rubbing over with a misted damp cloth and then buffing with a dry cloth - this will enhance the glitter. Perhaps try a small section first.

Gorgeous paint
I love love love this! Initially I was worried opening the pot to see the glitter on the insert but after 1 coat we added the glitter and it’s gorgeous, im now planning on the next decorating needed so we can try another colour

Different color when you paint the wall
This paint is really bad. Doesn't look like the color on samples or as on the box. Plus you get separate glitter so you have to mix it yourself. Also be careful as the tub is not as big as it looks like because of plastic insert that separate glitter from paint.
