Avoid. 1 rating is far too high.
In many many years doing DIY have not experienced a product so bad. OK, as a water based gloss it was a bit different but even after 2 coats it looked smeary - terrible. Have given up. I brought the first pot back as was convinced it was faulty but store staff effectively said, 'well, it is an own brand so not really recommended'.

Shocking
Great colour but it’s a shocking paint quality. Never have I ever experiences a paint of such poor quality and coverage ability

Awful!
* * Awful! * * Awful! * * Awful! Like water! Had to do 3 coats and coverage was still bad. Gave up and purchased a different make of gloss elsewhere. Wouldn’t recommend and definitely would not buy again! ! ! !

Avoid. Not fit for purpose
I would award this product no stars if I could. Very watery, a pain to apply and an awful finish. The colour on the pot was grey but it came out a sky blue after 2 coats. Avoid. Spend the money and get a reputable brand.

Avoid
Do not buy this paint, it is awful. Firstly it keeps needing to be stirred as colour pigments keep seperating. Secondly it is so watery you need many coats just to get full coverage and finally it dries to a matt finish...NOT GLOSS. do yourself a favour and buy Dulux or Crown.

Disaster
Bought it last week Followed instructions to a tee and it's not taking to the surface at all .

Won’t buy again
This gloss matches perfectly with the emulsion, it’s low odour & the brushes clean easily. However, this paint is definitely blue not grey and despite rubbing the woodwork thoroughly this paint slides across with minimal coverage. Took 4 coats to change colour from the original white.

Wish I had read reviews before buying. Awful
Bought this to paint an MDF unit. The unit was sanded down, sealed, primed, sanded again and reprimed. It was perfectly prepared. This paint took at least 3 coats to get coverage and even after a 4the the gloss is inconsistent with some areas very glossy, some duller than satin coat. Very disappointed, unit needs sanding down now and repainting with something better. The only positive I can say is that the colour is nice.

Don't bother
I bought to paint some solid wood doors. Primed them then used the Hamptons paint. You have to stir well as separates. Awful to apply. You deffinately cannot go over an area with your brush or roller again even after 30 seconds as it drags paint off. Persevered. Door looked awful. Dried quick. 2nd coat bit better going on. Still dried patchy. Thickness of paint OK. 3rd coat finally getting there. 4th coat yeh. Won't buy again. The colour is nice once your 4th coat is on.

Shocking product
Have used b&q own paint previously with no complaints. This latest incarnation is the worst paint I have ever used
