Liberty is a wonderful shade of black that will suit any interior design. The paint can be applied on melamine and wood surfaces. After application, this furniture paint will accomplish a flawlessly flat matt surface that will look good as new for a long time. You can buy exactly what you need to complete your decorating job, as this 500ml size will cover up to 12 m² on average. You can use a brush or roller to apply an even layer. GoodHome furniture paint ensures a rich depth of colour after just 2 coats and with its quick drying formula, it can be recoated after 12 hours. Washable and resistant to stains, it’s perfect to use in your home. As well as looking brilliant, this water-based paint is safe for use in your home. It contains minimal VOCs, making it a safe choice for you and your environment.

- Suitable for use on Melamine & wood surfaces
- Surface Preparation - Prepare wood by removing wax, oil and seal knots on untreated wood. Fill any holes or defects with a wood filler. Lightly sand melamine surfaces with 180 grit sandpaper for the best adhesion. Wash your surface with a soda based cleaner and then rinse thoroughly, it should be clean and dry before painting. Ensure any flaking paint is removed. The surfaces in your home may have been painted in the past with paint containing lead. Special care must be taken when sanding or stripping these surfaces
- Instructions for Use - Stir thoroughly before use. For best results, at least 2 coats are recommended using a brush or roller. To finish use GoodHome lacquer or wax to provide heavily used surfaces such as table tops and chair seats extra durable protection. Allow 10 days for paint to fully cure. During this time treat your new paintwork with extra care, gently wiping any spills or liquids from the paint immediately.

Good coverage and goes a long way
I bought this paint to do up an old piece of furniture and wanted a matt finish. It went on lovely and covered well. I was covering teak, so I did 2 coats to make sure. Just make sure the coat is fully dry before touching up any bits, otherwise is leaves a mark. Finish was just as I had hoped. I used a furniture wax to protect it.would definitely use this paint again

Not great
This paint is not "tough and Durable" nor is it "scrath/impact resistant" as it says on the tin. used a primer on my furniture, then two coats of paint, then another. several sfuff marks occurred within the first day! Not high useage or caress with the furniture, chest of drawers in the bedroom. Bought more paint to cover it, then had to buy a seperate sealant product to try and prevent more scuff marks.

Very good paint (Matt black)
I bought this as I wanted some Matt black paint for some internal wooden panels on my camper van to look like blacked out windows. I have to say it's really good stuff, it's nice and thick so covers what's underneath well it leaves quite a good smooth finish with minimal brush marks. It comes out a bit like treacle and sticks really well. Not sure how good it would be outdoors or on metal that's likely to rust. But I'm very impressed with it. It's ideal for a lot of different projects and the finish is very good particularly if you want a matte black at a reasonable price. Big thumbs up for this one!!!!!!

Excellent application
I had previously used sprays from elsewhere with disappointing results. I’m very pleased with this product, applied easily with a brush and resulted in a good flat and consistent finish. Took a couple of coats and dried quickly (out in heatwave sunshine). Seems to be resistant to general bumps and knocks too.

Good quality product
Seeing the reviews was so mixed i am actually so glad i gave this paint a go. It does say its a primer as well but I sanded furniture the best i could to remove as much varnish/top coat, so i cant comment how the paint would be if i didn’t do any prep. Applied thin coats of paint with a brush, left it to dry 12 hours in-between coats and 2 coats was all it took. Its been done over a week now and it hasn’t marked/chipped. Made up with the outcome. Lovely matt finish.
