This GoodHome Furniture Varnish has a low odour, quick-drying formulation that provides a long lasting, mahogany satin finish and highlights the natural woodgrain.

- Surface Preparation - Prepare the surface by removing any previous coatings and loose, flaking or peeling coatings completely. For bare wood lightly sand to remove any loose fibres. Use a cloth dampened with white spirit to remove any dirt, dust or grease.
- Instructions for Use - Apply evenly in the direction of the wood grain using a brush.

Beautiful deep colour with decent coverage
Used to varnish a 60 cm x 220 cm desk top and had plenty for the recommended 3 coats in the small tin. Great deep colour. Easy to use and simple to clean brush with soap and water. Loved it .

Surprisingly nice colour
Use it on untreated timber and you'll get a really lovely, reddish brown colour (on treated timber the colour is much darker, not so nice). Much better than expected.

Nice
Looks purple in the tin & even takes a few strokes before turning brown but the finish is lovely.

Does exactly what is says on the tin
Really beautiful colour. I used this for bedroom doors and painted directly on to the wood with no prior stain on it. Really good quality and I only needed the one coat. Goes really nice with white walls and the doors now match the floors and it looks amazing.

Satisfying make over project
Was abit scared to try this because I hadn't used a product like this before but was so happy with the end result. Easy to apply and a good coverage on my old wooden stool. Makes my stool like new. I couldn't believe how easy to use and the colour was perfect too!

Easy to apply and very nice finishes happy with my buy will highly recommend to buy if you want a lovely finish to you’re wood.. definitely be buying more for all my other projects also a little will go a long way :)

Lovely colour, applies really well and looks amaze
I used this to paint an old rocking chair that I recently sanded down. Applying the first coat was so easy and the paint is not lumpy and the colour is exactly what it says on the tin. Sometimes I find the colour could be darker or lighter but this mahogany colour was exact, pure and left the furniture looking amazing. Ready for a mother and her newborn!
