Liberating Experience
The item is a heavy piece of plastic, made and packaged in China, shipped half way round the world, and retailed in B&Q very cheaply. Not surprisingly B&Q would only take it back in its wrapped condition. Not having done my homework properly, it was only once I had opened it that I realised it was the wrong fit. I threw it away with the old seat and lid in the landfill bin. Now we Euripidesdon't have a seat and lid to clean, and nobody minds sitting on the porcelain. I feel liberated.

Absolutely Terrible Quality!
Thought this looked sturdy and well made but not even a week on and the wood has cracked right through on the seat. Absolutely not worth buying so disappointed.

Poor fitments
Extremely disappointing service from B&Q. No mention on the box of the fact that there are 4 separate articles consisting of 2 plastic nuts, a washer and a metal nut that secure the bolt from the seat underneath the loo instead of the single plastic thread bolt on my existing seat. Need hands the size of a baby to get near fitting this seat. No return accepted due to 'the cellophane being removed' despite the seat never being near the loo. Hugely disappointed as I now have a seat that will never be used.
