Good product
Its a good product and has good spread on woodwork

Terrible - Impossible to Get a Decent Finish
Colour is nice. Other than that - very poor. Poor adhesion, including apparently being actively repelled by Polyfilla. Thin, watery finish and everything underneath shows through even after several coats. High and unpredictable tendency to run. Even leaving the recommended time between coats, the second coat dissolves the first, resulting in a patchy, blotchy finish. Literally looks worse than before I painted it.

Waste of money
No adhesion quality at all, consistency of cottage cheese and it removes more whilst your trying to paint a surface. Colour is not great either.

Where is the colour
Like others I used this paint with 3 coats. In the end I overpainted with Dulux paint as the end result was so poor

No fault found
Bought this as previous house owner used it on woodwork and wanted to paint hall furniture to match. Then I read others reviews!!!! Have to say I was pleasantly surprised, it went on well, colour exactly as on the tin and took 3 coats on new wood (no primer) and a good finish.

Unfit for purpose
Bought this to repaint some bedroom furniture. All wood was sanded and two coats of undercoat applied. This paint goes on with the consistency of cottage cheese and after persevering for several hours I finally threw in the towel and bought some quality paint instead. Its a shame the poor review status isn't available for in store shoppers.

Check the reviews!
I bought this product as I liked the colour, 2 primer coats... 6 coats down on the doors and I’m going to have to buy another tin for them to look finished! Very disappointed!

Complete waste of time & money
I bought Ottawa eggshell paint to paint 3 real wood cupboard doors in my bedroom. I removed the doors, sanded & gave them two coats of quality primer. Apart from drying much lighter than the swatch on the tin, the paint was awful. I ended up applying about 8 or 9 coats over the course of several days, using up the whole can on just the fronts of the 3 wardrobe doors & they still looked patchy & dreadful. It was like the paint was translucent with not enough pigment in it. There was not enough paint left to do the interior side of the doors so I gave them a coat of the matt emulsion that I had used on the walls, one coat covered perfectly over the primer & gave great finish. Absolutely ridiculous!! B&Q need to withdraw & test this paint as there is obviously something very wrong with it.

Rubbish, absolute rubbish!
Many coats applied and still gives a wishy washy finish, do NOT waste your money on this!

Do not buy
This is awful paint. It doesn’t take to the wood that I’m trying to paint. Three coats in and I’ve given up. Worst product ever
