Not great

I bought this for my tomatoes and usually have no problem growing in a bag, but this time the contents seemed mostly wood pulp and my toms are way behind where they should be, I’ve moved them into containers with last years compost and they are doing better. Probably because all are now peat free which is good but I need to find a better product

Do not buy this. Just don't...

I have always been successful with the fruit & veg. At the very least, I think it's safe to say that tomatoes are one of the more resilient... When even your tomatoes aren't performing and cucumber)courgettes etc are dying, it's down to the mix. I literally threw it all out, repotted a few stragglers and started fresh. If you're reading this, ignore mixed reviews, just avoid this for safety and buy standard soil where you can control the feed yourself. Terrible product

Mushrooms

Nice texture, but before any seedlings came through, mushrooms have grown. Unfortunately contaminated with mushroom spores

B & Q Grow Bags Rubbish Never Use Them

This is the first time that I have used B&Q grow bags. I have previously used other brands. The plants struggled to grow. I had other tomatoe plants from the same seed grouping that I placed in buckets using a differernt compost medium. These were fine. I gave two of these B&Q growbags to my daughter who has had a poor plant performance as well. See the images which are of mtomatooes grown from plants from the same planted seed tray. I would havge taken them back to complain but it was too much trouble to and not practical. I shall not touich these again.

Wonderful!

My wife asked me to get something to grow tomatoes etc in. so picked up a few of these. Great value for money and the veg came out great (and still going). She also planted, cucumber, courgette and some flowers. All came out great and tasted wonderful... (the flowers weren't for eating of course :))

Great Product

I bought this product last month as had to do some repotting. Found it a good quality product and certainly making the plants grow strongly.

Amadeus2022 - 1 / 5 - 06/09/2022

Very poor quality this year

Tomatoes and other plants just not thriving in this year’s compost batch, despite the sun. Have checked with others and its the same story - what’s wrong with the commercial compost this year (2022)?

Avoid!

The worst grow bag I have ever purchased. Tomato plants which in previous years and in other grow bags have flourished, have come to almost nothing. Three plants were so stunted I gave up; the other three have produced fruit, but only just. I will never, ever buy this rubbish again. B and Q should be ashamed.
