I originally laid this flooring in my hallway,I liked it so much that I've now laid it in the kitchen & living room too.
After reading previous reviews about the tiles "lifting" after a while ,I also used spray adhesive prior to laying. The hallway has been down for nearly 6 weeks and as yet,no lifting.

We now have these throught the ground floor of our house but first put them down in the hallway over 12 months ago. We have quite uneven floorboards so lay 3mm hardboard over them and the planks have stuck to this without any extra adhesive. Not one plank has lifted.
They are also very hardwearing and any scuff marks come out easity with a quick mop

I've just installed this amazing product throughout my whole apartment & I have some important information for anyone installing this. I was lucky enough to have a very flat concrete floor to install this flooring on, so I used UniBond Super PVA Sealer & Primer to seal the floor, ensuring there's no debris & to give it a slightly tacky layer to adhere to.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING: I used Evo-Stick Contact Adhesive Spray directly on to the back of the vinyl plank. Without this spray, the planks lifted up (hence some of the bad reviews on here). The planks are designed to be installed on a latex surface & if that was the case, then the sticky back would probably be okay without additional spray adhesive. I personally recommend using the additional spray adhesive though, as it really ensures the plank is stuck down well. I used weights & anything I could find that was heavy to lay on top of the stuck down planks, to give them that extra encouragement to stick down & the results are amazing!
The planks themselves feel really nice, they have a good texture to them & do not look cheap in the slightest. They're super easy to cut (with a stanley knife) & snap in two, making installation a breeze! I tested the scratch resistance on an offcut & I'm thoroughly impressed, they resist most scratches other than taking a sharp object (like a knife) to the surface itself. I'm not sure why people would still go with laminate wood flooring, given the time it takes to install & the cost of materials - these vinyl planks are the future!
Couple of minor issues: some of the paper stick backing didn't tear off nicely, maybe 1 out of 4 would be a pain & would take a bit of time to peel off. Could do with slightly more durable paper ideally. I feel the manufacturer should recommend a spray adhesive too, as looking at the reviews, it seems a lot of people have had issues with them lifting up. With the spray adhesive & the UniBond prep mine have worked perfectly though.
Great initially... and then.....

Absolutely loved this flooring when I first put it down. Was so easy to lay and looked superb! However... 6 months on... the weather has changed... and almost all of the planks have shrunk or come unstuck and are lifting. A real shame because it all looked so good when first laid!
