Great value product
Had mine 4 years and saves me every summer! Is a bit loud and does use a lot of power but a life saver on hot days

Worked for year 1, worked for a day in year 2
Bought In July 22, worked well for that hot spell, started using it again in June 23, worked ok for a day or two but now just fails to pump out cold air, tried all the maintenance etc like inspecting the air filter but it also no longer sounds right

Had ours for 2 years
Can not fault this at all. We went the extra mile and had a firm put a hole through our wall to the outside. This was then fitted with the vent equipment that comes with this unit. Now we simply screw it into the vent in our wall and do not have to open the window for the hose (which is silly cos you will be pumping hot air out and also allowing it back in)! When it reaches the desired temperature that you set it to, it will turn to fan mode, but will then get back to cooling when the temp is raised.

Very good product keeping room cool
Bought this very recently, spontaneous purchase due to recent heatwave. For the price this is very good. It is definitely keeping the family room cool. The temperature setting set to 16 degrees, cooling light showing blue and exhaust pipe sitting nicely against the open window. Nevertheless for the price it is doing the job, keeping me cool in this 33 degrees weather, great little product.

COOLS THE ROOM BUT ………
Had the unit a few weeks and there now seems to be an issue where the compressor/condenser keeps turning off after 15-30mins of running and goes on to fan mode. After 2-3 minutes, it turns back on. By that time though the room has started to warm back up. Has anyone had this issue or is this how it’s supposed to be ? Apart from that it does make the bedroom cool. Just the noise when it’s switching from cool to fan is really annoying when trying to sleep that’s putting me off, If B&Q and them in stock I would take it back and exchange it.

Great product
I bought this product mainly to keep my dogs cool and us of course the outlet pipe is a bit large to go out of the window but with the weather it did the job it’s great bit of noise but no more than a fan we set it at 16 closed the door and within half n hr it was lovely in the room wanted to purchase another but out of stock would highly recommend

Got a very pregnant lady through the heatwave!
Bigger and heavier than I thought it'd be but kept the upstairs of my house 10c degrees cooler than outside throughout the heatwave. Absolutely brilliant! Only drawback is you have to purchase a window sealing kit separately as it doesn't include one and you definitely need one for it to work effectively. Also I found night mode louder than day mode for some reason so didn't use that setting in the end, I just kept day mode on.

Great, Big, Air-conditioning Unit
I bought this before the 1st heat wave, jumping on the 'it's too hot' bandwagon, and I am so glad I did!. Initially set up in our lounge (approx 12x40 ft) and switched it on. Within about 30 mins it was noticeably cooler. Since then have moved it upstairs to our landing, and it happily cools 2 bedrooms. The reason for the 4* is that the exhaust tube isn't quite long enough to reach a window, whilst unit is standing on the floor, and when you can just about get it to reach, the end part falls off (thankfully not onto roof outside, yet...) now use just the tube. It's big, it's heavy, and when it kicks in, it's noisy, but all can be forgiven as it let's us sleep at night.
