Great Lamp
I've had this lamp for about a year and a half now and it's as reliable as ever regarding the touch function, even though it is used nightly. It's great it has an on off touch function, rather than a 3 step touch dimming function, as that then means you can use any LED bulb with the lamp and not have to seek out a suitable dimmable bulb. The fact it is an on off touch lamp makes it also especially suitable for the purpose I require it for. I use this lamp as a night light when I need to visit the bathroom at night, so have no need for it to be dimmable. Instead I use a very dim 2 watt bulb in it with a colour temperature of 1800k (Auraglow Mysa Extra Warm Amber Glow E14 bulb) the type of bulb that doesn't emit much blue light and therefore doesn't have much effect on the sleep wake cycle. I also use it just before sleep when sat up in bed drinking my sleepy time herbal tea, enjoying the relaxing sunset glow it produces. And I love the fact that when its finally time to sleep it is so easy to turn off with the lightest touch of your hand. I also love the fact the lamp is such a good price, but the quality is still good despite this. I find this lamp so nice and handy, I have actually brought 2 more of the lamps and stored them away in case at some point in the future the touch function does fail (that has happened with other brands of touch lamps I have owned in the past). And I know these lamps won't be around forever, and at such a bargain price. It's good too that it's available in a nice neutral white colour, which would be suitable for most settings.
