Product information
GoodHome walls and ceilings paint is ideal for your interior spaces. It gives a smooth and wipeable finish, so your newly painted look will last for longer
- Surface Preparation - New plaster or plasterboard should be sealed with a plaster sealer. For non-powdery surfaces or to cover contrasting colours, prepare with a walls and ceilings primer. Painted surfaces should be sanded, clean and dry. Fill any holes or defects with filler. When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation
- Instructions for Use - Stir gently before use. Apply using a brush or roller, when the temperature is between 10°C and 30°C. For best results, recoat after 2-4 hours.
- Instructions for Storage - Store any leftover paint between 5 and 30°C. Best used within 1 year of opening.

Good coverage
Just painted the passage, stairs and landing with the good home Hokkaido Matt emulsion bought 7.5 ltrs expecting to have to put a couple of coats on as it was covering beige but nope only used about 3.5 ltrs. Good coverage at a decent price.

Beautiful colour
Painted my daughters room with this and it went on a dream. 1 coat was all it needed. Did 3 walls with one tub. Result is gorgeous and the wee one is happy.

Nice colour, good coverage, but poor paint
The paint was true-to-colour based upon the colour swatch on the pot, and it covered the walls well, even after one coat. However, the paint was extremely separated open first opening, and too a LOT of mixing. It also had lots of large and small lumps in it, which couldn’t be painted out and had to be manually removed from the wall with tissue, then the area painted over again. This made the job take considerably longer than it should have. Not sure if we just had a bad pot/batch? Overall, I recommend the colour and (in principle) the paint - another pot we had in a different colour was fine - but was disappointed with the quality control.

Good
I found with this paint it was darker than the label had stated by about 2 3 shades darker however it painted lovely and had good coverage..

Sugary colour and dries too quickly
I was a little disappointed with this paint due to the colour and consistency. It was more of a sugary lilac than I expected and also dried exceptionally quickly so it was impossible to get a smooth and even finish. I ended up having to mix it with a grey tone I have from Dulux to make the best of it. Thankfully it isn’t too expensive so I wasn’t overly frustrated, but I did waste time trying to work with it. It would probably suit a children’s room if watered down for ease of application, but I wouldn’t recommend for an adult’s bedroom.
