Quality product
We purchased this unit when we discovered that we could no longer obtain a replacement bulb for our existing fitting. It is an integrated unit with built in LED light source and has the added benefit of two light colours with a simple flick of the light switch. Initially you get a softer, warm white light but a quick turn off and back on again produces a brighter clear white light that illuminates the room perfectly. As an LED unit it is cheap to run and installation was very simple. What’s not to like!

Good illumination.
I bought this light to replace a previous B&Q (3 lamp G9 bulb) unit which had turned completely rusty (so much for its suitability for bathrooms).

Difficult to install and faulty after 8hrs
Bought 2 of these directly from the shop. Fitting method is over complicated and took hours to install each light. One light fittings started flickering and turning itself on and off, 8 hrs after being installed. 2nd light started doing the same a week later. I checked the reviews on here to find this product has this major issue. I am kicking myself for not reading reviews online first. Its infuriating when you've spent ages installing them (or paid an electrician), to then have to uninstall and take them back. I have returned them and replaced with a known brand from different shop that took me 20min to fit and works as it should. If I had read the reviews first I wouldn't have bought any.

Rubbish
I bought this product in December from my local store. It was quite fiddly to fit, but we got there . However only a week or so into using it, it started flickering and dimming on its own. Some days it does , some days it doesn’t . Has a mind of its own . B&Q should drop this from its range and find a better make .

Just say no
The most ridiculously fiddly to fit to the ceiling and fit some unknown reason you can't permanently set the colour - you pull the pull cord within 2 seconds to switch. Will be replacing this at my earliest opportunity and fuming at the pricetag.

Very poor
Echo all 1 star reviews. Works okay for a couple of months then starts flickering. DONT buy and B&Q shouldn’t be selling it.

Wish I read the reviews first! Rubbish!
I came here to read the reviews after we started experiencing issues after 4 months of install. Flickering brightness as others have been saying for the last year. Additionally, its awful to fit if you have an extractor fan linked to the light switch!
