Azalea japonica is much loved for its profusion of small tubular flowers in spring. This azalea will add interest to your containers or borders, with a mass of vibrant flowers against its glossy evergreen leaves.
- moist, well-drained, humus-rich, acid soil or ericaceous compost in partial shade in Sunny or shady areas

- Dig soil improver in to the soil. Dig a hole twice as big as the pot, remove the pot from the rootball and place in the hole, ensuring the top of the plant roots is level with the soil surface. Backfill soil around the roots and water well
