Disappointed
Assumed when purchasing this flame torch it was automatic ignition. Have to light with match which more often than not gets blown out before lighting

Brazing disappointment
Bought some time ago but felt compelled to review after recently trying to braze some mild steel. I really struggled to get enough heat out of the torch to get the metal glowing before applying fluxed rods. At best I could get the flux to melt but not the inner metal rod. I've tried everything from adjusting flow and flame position, no joy. No problem lighting the gas as per other reviews, there appears to be a knack to it. I found if I held the lighter flame close to the outlet but lower than the middle I could get it to light first time otherwise it would "light" but not develop a full flame and then go out. Probably best used for soldering and little else. Maybe lighting candles if you've got a lot of them.

Really good for melting silver etc
I saw a demonstration on how to use this properly on Kernow Craft on You Tube. I also read and followed the manufacturer’s instructions, so I have not had the problems stated by previous reviewers. It’s good value and I’m so pleased I bought it.

Mot good
As said in other reviews, hard to light, goes out, flame has little to no control and sets fire to what your heating up due to the haphazard flame

DOES NOT WORK!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Absolute rubbish and a waste of money. It does not light and when it does the flame will set your belongings on fire, due to uncontrollable flame. We should all get our money back due to misrepresentation.

Don't waste your money.
Absolutely useless. Took out cotton wool in the nozzle as per other reviews... Very slightly better as it now lights...But as soon as you pick it up it goes out.

Hard to light self extinguishes all the time.
Had a crank bolt I needed to heat up to melt the thread lock, and while this did work it is so temperamental to use. Hard to light and goes out with the slightest of wind. I have a few spare bottles of gas so I keep using it for odd jobs but it really is close to usless. Very expensive too.

As good as useless
Bought this to replace an ageing torch. Hadn't done any research / review reading etc. It just wouldn't light at all, regardless of how much/little gas was flowing. Rather than return it I took it apart to inspect, and found a lump of cotton wool in the nozzle. Removed that, and got it to light and it worked well for a bit. Next time of trying to light it was a joke. Absolute rubbish, and I'll now be returning it.
