Had a crank bolt I needed to heat up to melt the thread lock, and while this did work it is so temperamental to use.

Hard to light and goes out with the slightest of wind.

I have a few spare bottles of gas so I keep using it for odd jobs but it really is close to usless.

Very expensive too.

As good as useless

Bought this to replace an ageing torch. Hadn't done any research / review reading etc.
It just wouldn't light at all, regardless of how much/little gas was flowing. Rather than return it I took it apart to inspect, and found a lump of cotton wool in the nozzle. Removed that, and got it to light and it worked well for a bit. Next time of trying to light it was a joke.
Absolute rubbish, and I'll now be returning it.

Works great but needs cleaning!

I bought this blow torch several years ago and last night it wouldn’t light, I was going to replace it with another one but after reading the reviews I was put off. I decided I’d look at cleaning it as no gas was coming out of the nozzle. It appears that this was quite easy as the main shaft unscrews from the body by use of a thin screw driver, then use a 1/4 open ended spanner to remove the nozzle. There is a piece of cotton wool in the rear of the nozzle, remove this. Then with a air gun or blow really hard to clear the nozzle, check to see that it’s clear. Put it all back together and check to see it works.

Woeful

I got this as it seemed just as I wanted, small with a fine flame. I bought the correct gas as instructed on the packet. It worked fine for a short time, then wouldn't light and no sound of gas. I bought another gas and the same again. I wish I had read these reviews before. I'm going to take it back and not ask for another as I've had trouble with another torch from Gosystem (from B&Q.) Shame if it worked it would have been great... But it isn't !!!!!
