Dangerous appliance
Gas leak between bottle and torch valve. Almost caused a fire as could not shut off gas. Out of warranty so dismantled torch to find problem. Pipe inside torch in two pieces sealed by two O rings. Both had failed. Probably cheap O rings not rated for gas/oil. Avoid!!

Complete Junk
2nd one I've bought, the first one the gas seal between the bottle and the torch went, couldn't get a replacement seal anywhere so that one got thrown away as it was about 4 months outside of the warranty. The one in my hand now is about 5 months old and the ignitor has failed. Cant find the receipt unless I can persuade them to change it (which I doubt) this will probably end up in the bin as well. And to add insult to injury I don't think it's been used more than about ten times, I've not even changed the cylinder on it yet! They appear to be cheap (?) poorly made copies of the Rothenberger torch. I will NOT be buying another one.

Powerful
I bought this to save carrying oxy / actelene with me to heat bolt etc to free them off when rusted an seized. Works well and has done all asked of it so far.

Not reliable
I was using the torch gas ran out so I swapped the bottle and gas escaped from everywhere I tried a different bottle but got same result . It was over a year old so nobody was interested in the fault . I'm not impressed with the total lack of reliability , I didn't use the torch extensively only on home project and didn't abuse the torch either never , never again.

Bought for plumbing work
I bought this 14 months ago & used it about six times went to use it to warm up some flashband & the small metal insert in barrel fell out & the gun wouldn' T work any more. Took it back to supplier they didn't want to know as only 12 months guarantee on it. I wouldn't buy another.

urgent need
I needed a blow lamp urgently this was the only one in stock and I must say it performed better than I thought, it heated up a pair of front discs in seconds and I was able to continue to repair my car, I thought it would take ages to heat the discs but this torch did the job in seconds.
