Good gate for the price
Brought 2 of these gates very happy with one of them but the other had joints which where not properly glues so had to insert screws at joints to stop gate falling apart

Garden gate
This is our second one. Great solid gate, good fixing points.

Cheap and poorly made
You get what you pay for. Bought this as it has been treated. However, the quality is poor. The gate is badly put together, loosely nailed, tenon joints have 1/4 inch of slop in them, lozenged when held on one side and bent by about an inch when you look along its length. After remaking it with screws and wedges and a diagonal brace it was OK. Spend more and get a better one.

Appalling design and construction quality.
The top 2 horizontal members are grooved, into which sit the vertical bars. This is a design issue as the groove will fill with water and encourage rot. The wood quality is pretty poor, being much more knotty than the picture and with larger knots, this is the lowest grade timber. Nail/Staples are inserted very deep, leaving visible holes requiring filling. Preservative treatment seems to be very patchy mine had blotches, streaks and splatters of green. Finally my unit was delivered quite wet top and bottom as though it is stored outside. I would knot recommend ( pun intended ) Received it today and returned it also.

Poor finish, no brace on back
I bought this from B&Q after checking Grange Gates website. The gate that arrived was inferior to the ones in the photos on both sites. I now know why there's no online pic of the back of the gate because it doesn't have a brace (diagonal strip of wood) across the back to stop it warping over time. The joins were not made properly and the nails were in the wrong places so they weren't holding the structure together properly. Edges that should have been planed were rough. The treatment that had been put on the wood means the knots will continue to leak sap after painting so I had to use a special primer. I've also got some wood and put a brace on the back. So not such a great bargain after all!!!

fabulous fit
this gate was bought to put in a hallway from the kitchen to the living, my daughter has just had a baby and wanted to keep the dog out off the room if she was in the kitchen doing something and baby in room asleep. it was a perfect fit and very sturdy because the dog is a staffy and easiely barge thru filmsy gates

Good quality gate
Bought the gate for our newly refurbished front garden and painted it grey to match the fence. Was easy to paint and it looks lovely and modern! Would recommend!

Great gate!
The quality of this gate is very good. I have to say I was a little uncertain when I purchased it because of the low price. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Not happy with the construction
When I started to fit gate found joints to be loose, fitted extra screws.. Should have sent it back.
