Provanto Boltac Grease bands are the easy to use pest barrier for trees. The bands are pesticide free, effectively trapping a wide range of pests, including winter tree moths and other insects before they can get up into the tree canopy

- Instructions for use: Inside the pack you will find a ready prepared greased band and some brown wire to tie the greased band onto the tree. The band should be fixed well above the level of any surrounding vegetation to ensure that it is not bridged, which may allow insects to avoid the grease. Use the band around any supporting tree posts. To save fruit from Winter Moth caterpillars: Apply in autumn and keep in place until the following April. To trap Earwigs and Ants as they try to climb the trees: Apply in summer

Grease tree banding
Just the job for my fruit trees, easy to apply. Very greasy banding, cut to size and fix with wire supplied.

Worked wonders in keeping ants off my apple tree
The greaseband is easy to use and kept ants off my apple tree where they were protecting and feeding off aphids who in turn did damage to the leaves. An environmentally and wildlife friendly solution I would highly recommend.

It does the job
Fed up with insects eating the fruit on my trees before I get a chance! Next near there should be a lot more that's edible😀

Good value, deters ants from an apple tree, easy to apply

Not good
I bought this for my apple tree and I put it round the trunk and on the two other main branches and it lasted about two days it got some ant stuck on it They just found away it still getting I’ve it. Not impressed wouldn’t buy again

Excellent product
I use it all redy for a couple of new planted fruit tree and is very efficient.
