need to check for flaws when it comes

This is a great light, but the first to arrive had damage which the factory had tried to grind out on one lamp and chips on the other. I took it into my local B&Q and they swapped it with no quibble for one that is perfect. If you aren't planning on putting it up soon after buying it's worth checking it out quickly to avoid being disappointed when you want to put it up.

you will need a weekend away after putting it up

The light looks great once it is up but putting it up is the problem. Who ever came up with the design inside the light needs a talking too! It took nearly 2 hours to fit after having to rest my arms about 100 times. The product should come with a free voucher for a weekend away for one as you will one as you will want to kill the person helping you put it up! The bracket for the light is not a great design which makes it very had to put the screws on at the very end. Apart from the traumatising experience of putting it up the end result looks good. WARING: do not attempt to put this up with a hang over it will tip you over the edge!

better than it looks, hard to install!

The light fitting is a lot larger than it seems, which makes for a stunning feature light. That said, adjusting the wires is not an easy task and due to the weight it's not the easiest to install. Looks beautiful but be prepared for the hard work!

Cleaning inside and two man job installing.

Had to get a friend to help me, in fact he done most of it, fixing it to the ceiling was pretty hard after installing location bar to the ceiling. Hold screws should be a bit longer with a lead in to help, I would how you clean the inside.

Nice looking product

This lighting set looks better when you see it in the flesh. The pictures dont do it justice. Great value too However, no stores seem to have this in stock. The reserve and collect is useless as the stock information is inaccurate. You dont always get a call back from the store. You end up calling them or taking a chance. No point in having a reserve and collect system B&Q had better get a bit more up to date

Look pretty, but hard work!

These looked stunning in the shop. Originally I had them put up in the dining room, but due to the metal coating on the glass shade interior, they only work as spotlights, lighting the area directly beneath the shade, they will not light the room or surrounding area, so I had a very brightly lit dining table, but the rest of the room in darkness! Also, they hang very low & are very hard to adjust to a shorter length. Also, they are very heavy to hang & being glass, you are advised to keep the polysterene packaging around them until they are in situ & do not hang anywhere near an open window or doorway or anywhere where you are likely to get a draft! I now have them hung in the kitchen over a worktop that benefits from direct lighting, but out of any draft & they look absolutely stunning! Right light for the right place!

Look good

These lights look really good once they are up.Getting them up was a bit of a problem though,they are quite heavy so you need someone to hold the hanging lights as someone else screws in.Do look nice once you have got around this though.
