Undercoat required?
I painted the garage door with the black metal paint. It needed a couple of coats to cover and I think undercoat would have helped.

Quality product
I used this for outside stair railings and metal garden furniture. It goes on well the medium sized tin is easy to handle and has good coverage.

Strong and durable

Fine for outdoor use
This is fine for outdoor use but the spray paint version is far easier to use and gives a better finish (no paintbrush strokes etc)
