Solar Lights
These lights are a very attractive garden decoration, more so than the white light variety. Both are a very acceptable design and weather well. They would benefit from two improvements, the pegs are not as strong as one would like and lose elasticity with time, so need to be more robust to allow for that. Inevitably, there will be a potential for damp in the mechanism, in due course, and battery contacts need to be made of a material not subject to copper salt deposit. These are, however minor problems which can be overcome with care and proper maintenance!

Not rain proof
I bought 8 of these last summer. Within a few weeks I noticed that some were not lighting up after a rain storm. The solar panels were letting in rain water and filling up the light funnel and had to be drained out. A few weeks later some had corroded the lights and switches. Will not buy this rubbish again.
