easy to install
Installation instructions easy however some aspects could be an issue to some customers. There is no earth connection within the unit, this can be achieved by connecting the power and mat earth connections within the unit, (there is enough room between the unit and 3cm back plate for a connection block). The thermostat lead will not reach eye level, so be prepared for the unit to be in the wall below light switch level. There's no program memory in the event of a break in the power, The instructions do day it requires RCD protection, this should be independent to other power sources. Operation instructions and symbols appear to be for the international market, there is no on/off symbol instead there is a 'holiday mode' with the default temp setting being 10 degrees. This can be lowered to 5 degrees. Symbols are small on the screen. The mat wires are robust, adhere well to the floor and can be altered easily.
