Very comfortable for a folding bed
Having downsized we don’t have the same number of beds as previously but often have my adult children and their families visit. This Jay-Be Crown Premier Folding bed has been brilliant. Width is just enough for one and the mattress was surprisingly comfy, and we’ve been told comfier than the mattresses we have on our single and trundle beds. The bed folds well and is just the right size to fit in our wiring cupboard for easy storage however one enhancement would be a wooden frame or some sort of hard cover for storage so it can go against wall and be used as a wide shelf when not in use.

Quick & easy
Easy enough to put up! Using it currently for a child’s bed temporarily! Comfortable , doesn’t take up much room. Smaller double. Very good value for money for a cheaper alternative

Amazing product
Wow this jay-be fold up crown Premier deep sprung mattress bed is amazing let's first of all talk about how easy it pulls out the stand legs automatically come out when your lieing the bed down which is super handy the mattress is so thick especially for a fold up there are so many layers to the mattress it's super bouncy really is so comfortable you can definitely tell the value for money from it's quality really is strong and sturdy folds up making it so much easier for storage 100%recommended one thing that needs improving is the bolts what hold the head board in I feel are to small you can only just get them to thread on

Great little bed
I got this bed as I needed a bed downstairs for several weeks. It is really comfortable for a small folding bed. It folds out of the way during the day. I am really pleased with my purchase and it was delivered quickly by Jay be.

Good bed but with moving/storage issues
For sleeping on, the bed is great. Good matress and frame which is very easily unfolded for use and folded away. The problem this bed has is with the storage and moving it around. The strap you get with it to keep it folded for storage is totally inadequate and actually snapped the first time I used it. This is the problem on other reviews I have read. The other problem are the castor wheels are not up to the job either and make moving it around very difficult. Overall it is a great bed and would recommend it if you can put up with the dodgy wheels and storage strap.

Comfy spare bed
I bought this product last month and its the 2nd Jay-Be bed I have bought over the years, its super comfy and is easy to store away and bring out at short notice

Good occasional bed
Although the packaging was damaged by the courier (flimsy packaging for a heavy bulky item) the bed itself wasn’t damaged. Easy to assemble the headboard with the supplied Allen keys. The bed is simple to unfold and fold and is comfortable to sleep on. Overall happy with the quality, ease of use and comfort.

Terrible
Ordered 2 of these, one arrived damaged and the other one broke after 3 days. The folding mechanism in the middle is very flimsy and once this bends then the bed will not fully open or close making it useless. Trying to return has been a challenge and although B&Q did apologise you have to also contact Jaybe who did not apologise or offer an explanation as to why this happened? It’s not like they’re cheap products. I would not recommend this or buy from Jaybe again.
