This is my first electric mitre so nothing to compare against but after finally making my mind up decided to go out and purchase the JCB, glad I did it’s making building my deck frame so much easier.

Not bad for the price

Easy to setup. Cuts pretty accurate. The blade it came with is pretty rubbish so replaced with a better one and now works great. Only comes with one clamp which is frustrating but luckily I took one off my old one. With just one clamp I find long pieces of wood don’t lay flush resulting in uneven cut. It’s ok for the price

Unable to set up angles

Mine did needed adjusting to get everything square however the 45 and 90 deg adjusters, which the manual says are spring loaded, are not and there is no slot in the screws to enable a screwdriver or Allen key to be used. On one the locking nut was right at the end of the screw and it was seized so I could not adjust it with fingers. Other machines use Allen bolts with locking nuts so I will buy one of those instead. A pity because it seems decent enough otherwise.

Great product givesa bigger working size
