Battery faulty. Was this a return that was put back out without checking? I just wonder!

Just killed the second one!
I've had two of these. Great drill at first, the battery lasts well, loads of torque, useful high speed setting and helpful hammer action. After a few months of reasonable home use it just started with a burning smell and sudden loss of power. The battery with a nearly full charge. B&Q swapped it for a new drill and a few months later the replacement has done the same thing. I might cut my losses and buy a better drill despite this still having warranty left. It's a shame because it's a great drill until it dies.

Very poor quality
Bought on 24/7/20. By 28/7/20 (used 3-4 times max) chuck bearing has so much play, drilling a round hole is now impossible. Unless you solely want to drive in two or three screws a year, don't waste your money on such a sub-par product

poorly made
Brought this product yesterday with intentions of redecorating house once again (move around a lot due to being military). After hanging a few photos and reassembling furniture the drill gave off a smokey burnt aroma and gave a very weak performance, tried a new battery and as expected it was still broke. House put together but for £90 I could have paid a handy man while I unpacked. Steer clear of this product.

Stops working after a few uses
You press the button and a white light comes on & it makes a slight sound but the mechanism isnt moving. It has a 3 year guaruntee on it but they will just give me another one that will stop working..dont get into this trap. A refund is your only hope with this product & you will not get one

Stay well away from this product.
Bought this as a second drill for houshold jobs. Did not over use and it did the job.The battery and drill still in perfect condition as it was looked after and not overused.The carger packed up. Tried B&Q to purchase a new charger --- not available and no help given to find replacement.No back up service. Not able to sourse on-line anywhere. Time to throw it away even though drill and batteries are working. Very poor after service . DO NOT BUY THIS.

A bit pathetic.
I purchased a JCB drill seven years ago, on a whim because I needed something cheap to keep me going until I had more cash for a better one. Unfortunately the batteries have been slowly dying for about a year on that one, despite being regularly abused drilling holes in concrete, putting up shelves, general building work etc. So decided to treat myself. The logical choice would be another JCB drill right? How wrong I was. This drill is honestly the most pathetic thing I've ever used, I was building a new bed yesterday, and this drill couldn't even screw in 6mm screws WITH a pilot hole, without a pilot hole, you just get this smell of burning as its trying to screw. For drilling holes its not so bad, awfully slow, but does get the job done. Poor effort, will be going back!

Drill awesome! Charger rubbish!!
Bought the drill in September used charger once and won’t work now. Can’t get replacement as company have non and can’t even offer a compatible one. So angry

Nice drill shame about the charger
Have had this drill since September 2019 and used it regularly. It's been very good until the charger packed in earlier this month. Now I can't use it. It appears from other reviews that people have had the same problem.

The charger doesn’t work after 7 months
I don’t use it that often but I have over the last few weeks due to lock down. And when I went to charge a battery the charger doesn’t work. Only had 7 months. Not good.
