Hammer action is broken
I have had this drill for just over one year. Moderate usage over that period but it has now failed - the hammer action no longer works. I bought this partly because of the name - my mistake was thinking the "Name" guarantees the product, when it is actually the other way round: the quality of the product reflects on the "Name". The motor was up the job but that was about it in positive terms The chuck was slippy and awkward, the unit was very heavy, and it failed - I never had a drill that failed after so short a time. Not sure if I will trust a JCB branded product again.

Broken after two uses
The hammer action stopped working after only two uses, not what i was looking for in a product supplied by a leading retailer.

Bought a month ago for various jobs around the home, tackled a variety of jobs well enough, no complaints.

Busted after 2 uses
bought this a couple of weeks ago as i wanted a key chuck drill, i have used it twice since then and the last time i used it the chuck would loosen as i was drilling, and now the chuck wont even tighten, so im going to take it back today for a different drill or a replacement, rubish really from a tough make

Confused
Bought this drill a few weeks ago, to replaced an older model, drilled two holes 8mm. each time the bit fell out of the chuck on completion, despite being tightened in all three ports on the chuck. this happened while on hammer action.
