Good drill
I bought this about a year and a half ago and I've used it a lot in replacing my kitchen and bathroom. It's great at drilling holes in brick, timber and plastic and drives screws easily. It took a while but I managed to drill through the 8mm thick porcelain tiles in the bathroom as well. However it cannot drill through the dense concrete blocks which my walls are made of. Sometimes the drill bits slip, and sometimes it feels bumpy when I try and tighten them. The two batterys are really usefull.

Loks nice
As a retired peson i had to save up for this drill , Apart from the fact you cannot tighten the chuck with out a pair of mole grips it worked ok for 18 months then both bateries became weak and will now only work for 1 min or so then they are flat . I havnt used it a lot as i have a powerfull bosch drill to do heavy work .I wont be buying another .

Great for 3 years
That is guarantee for 3 years. good but I bought this 3 years and 26 days ago and today I was drill 2 hole and is broke. the head didn't spinning. all 3 years was work in home use not profi but I was aspect that will work little longer not a month after guarantee. yes if you want for 3 years is great buy, if you aspect little longer life not with this.

Lovin' this cordless !
At 20V and with two 1.5 batteries it beats all within this price range. It's good to go for all job sizes and with good battery life. Plus, look at it................ it's dead sexy :)

light and easy to use.
I bought this drill for home DIY work and to date it has preformed all that I ask of it, It is very versatile, I could have done with this drill 20 years ago when I was installing central heating systems.

Small and compact
although small and compact this drill is very powerful. Has a nice balance to it. Would highly reccomend this drill

Good drill but replacement batteries unobtainable.
I bought an 18 volt version 3 years ago and it has given very good service, but both batteries have reached the end of their life. Has proved impossible to get new ones. JCB' s service help line tells me to go to their service web site. Battery is listed but "out of stock" . Help desk tells me to wait and keep trying to see if stock becomes available ! Have now bought a Dewalt drill for which there are freely available replacement batteries. JCB drill buyers beware !
