Like Drilling Through Butter
Had to drill through steel for a job I was on so bought these from my local B&Q. Glad I did as it was like drilling through butter so finished the job very quickly.

expensive rubbish
Bought this set this week to drill some 1.5mm thick stainless steel pipe. They should be up to the job but all failed to do the job and quickly blunted. Absolute waste of money.

Do not work on hard metal as stated!!!
Bought to drill 3 x 3mm holes to accept self tapping screws in a stainless flue pipe! Would not even drill one hole! Useless!!! Returned!!!

Disappointing performers
Bought this set to drill a 5mm S/steel plate on my boat, but after about 8 minutes they had made very little impression and wandered about. I couldn't even drill a small pilot hole - overpriced and a waste of money.

Not fit for purpose
I bought this product last week to drill holes in a steel lintel to install a bifold door. The first hole with the 8mm was fine, but the 2nd hole it struggled, so I had to use the 6mm to get through and then the 8mm to widen it. For the 3rd hole, the 6mm got most of the way through, but had to use the 5mm to break through, then the 6mm and 8mm to widen up the hole. The lintel ledge is only 4-5mm thick, but these bits failed miserably, and I couldn't finish the job. I returned them to store and obtained a refund. Very disappointed.
