Absolutely love Jg speed fit products I have tried other brands which don’t always seam to work 1st time. This is definitely my go to brand for push fit plumbing. There is always that confidence in that click. Great range of fittings for getting any one out of trouble.

Connects 1/2" BSP pipe to 15mm pipe easily
These sound quite expensive at first - but they are SO worth it! I purchased 2 JG Speedfit connectors to connect my 1/2" BSP copper piping to the 15mm flexible hoses that came with my Bristan basin mixer tap - and it made the job so easy to do :-) I am a 68 year old woman, with no plumbing experience, so if I did it, anyone should be able to. A tip I found on YouTube was to clean the end of the copper pipes, so they are free of paint and dirt. And then to smear a little washing up liquid on them before pushing on the white plastic connectors. And that really did work a treat!

Fit 15mm tap tails to 1/2" BSP copper pipes easily
Recently purchased a Bristan Blitz Mono basin tap for my new vanity unit. But like most taps nowadays, this Bristan tap also came with M10 x 15mm flexible connecting pipes. Trouble is that the 15mm female threaded nuts would not fit my 1/2" BSP copper pipes! But it was difficult (nigh on impossible) to find some new tails with the same bore size that would fit the tap AND my 1/2" pipes! Then thankfully, I came across these John Guest Speedfit connectors and they enabled me to fit the flexi hoses to my pipes really easily - with no leaks and no need for plumbers tape, putty or a plumber! And I'm a 68 year old woman! So if I can do it, anyone should be able to do it :-) My tip is to first connect the tails to the JG connectors and then to wipe a little washing up liquid onto the copper pipes and just push the connectors on firmly. Job's a good'un :-)
