Nice design, had to adapt to existing wiring
It's a nice design for a small bathroom or toilet and provides good lighting without taking up a lot of space. The light comes with a single one-way terminal block and the bulb holder has terminals for live, neutral and an earth. This might be fine for some installations but most people are probably replacing an existing ceiling rose with a loop-in and loop-out connections, in which case you need to provide some extra terminals. In my case I had a loop-in, a loop-out an also a permanent and switched live for a fan. I managed to fit in a 3-way terminal block to accommodate the neutral, live and switched live connections and a separate 1-way block for the earth connections. I did put the heat sleeving on the wires for the lamp holder although I'm not too concerned about heat as it's only ever going to be used with LED bulbs (they never get anywhere near as hot as an incandescent or halogen) . The terminals on the lamp holder can probably accommodate 2 wires maximum, they are quite small. The lamp is mounted with 3 screws into the ceiling so you'll more than likely need to buy some plasterboard fixings as the lamp only comes with masonry fixings (I guess they are supplied if you choose to wall mount it). I used the standard grey plastic ones and the provided screws and they held fine, the light isn't too heavy even when the bulb and glass are fitted. One thing to be aware of is that the hole for the wires is not in the centre, if you're replacing an existing light in a small room it may be obvious if you place it off centre. In my case I was able to make the hole in the ceiling a bit bigger and there was enough slack in the wiring to move it so I could offset it to become central again.

Not suitable for exterior use
I have 2 of the lights fitted in my front and rear porches. Both have become severely corroded in under a year. The chrome plating is of low quality and will not withstand our weather, particularly if you live anywhere need the sea. This light would be fine for inside a house.
