easy to fit
very modern, easy to fit - took all of half an hour. spent 10 mins adjusting the length but very straightforward

Great pendant lights
Purchased two of these lights for our kitchen really do look great, read some negative reviews re adjusting the height, but it's so easy to adjust and get the height we wanted so don't know what some people see !!!! The good points of these lights are they are lightweight so are really good if fixing into a plasterboard ceiling with p b fixings / plugs no need to have to install noggings into ceiling void especially on an in situ ceiling

Very Contemporary
Bought 2 of these, one for over the dining area which was low over the table and one for the seating area, both look very stylish. I did use an electrician as I wanted a swag over the dining table. Very pleased.

fab, designer look
I bought this light a few weeks ago. Looks lovely low hung over our table designer look but for a fraction of the price!

classy minimalism
a gorgeous light. punches above its weight for price and style. looked at pricier designers and couldn't find anything anywhere near as elegant as this. no problems fitting or shortening the cable.

Ignore other reviews
I bought this in store and fitted it before reading the other reviews. The lights looks stunning very modern and took a grand total of 3-4 minutes to install. The cable was shortened very easy to what ever size I wanted. I dont know what these other noddys are talking about when they say they had to drill it out. Literally took less then 5 minutes very easy and looks awesome. Overall very pleased with the item

Stunning
Saw these in the shop without reading previous reviews. Lucky! I have installed 2 above a kitchen Island unit. They look great. Shortening the length was easy: unscrew grub screw, adjust length and re-tighten grub screw. This left a long loop of unused cable which I put in the ceiling void through the hole the power supply came through. Great lights. Perfect with LED bulbs

Quite frustrating
I wish I had read the previous review before buying this lamp. The cable is about 3 foot long and cannot be shortened without damaging the fitting. No where on the pagaging does it say how long the cable is, and it is only when you get to the penultimate paragraph of the enclosed instuctions that you find the note saying that the cable length cannot be altered. (the cable connections are glued in place) The sample displayed in my branch of B&Q has a 4 inch cable. A complete waste of time and milage.

Lovely design, but...
I am installing three of these over a breakfast bar and they will look great - eventually! However, the installation is difficult, it should be a simple exercise but isn't. The problem is shortening the cable. This is very long and in a modern house the lamp reaches plate level. There are plastic grub screws holding the cable . These cannot be unscrewed, possibly glued in and they shattered when I tried to loosen them. I had to drill out the screw in order to free the cable and shorten it to the length I wanted, from 1m to 20cm, then glue in place of the grub screw. If you have the capability of doing this, then the lamps are recommended, otherwise go elsewhere.
