Apply this primer from the Leyland Trade Specialist range to interior & exterior , using a brush or roller, to prepare the surface for painting. It takes 1-2 Hours to dry and will cover 13 m² per litre on average.
- Water-based
- Suitable for MDF surfaces
- Brush or roller application
- Instructions for Use - Stir well before use. Apply by a brush or roller which should be clean and free from solvent and oil. Apply liberally, brushing firmly into the surface. Do not apply when the air or surface temperature is below 10ºC or externally when rain is imminent. A second coat serves as an excellent undercoat for gloss finishes. Under normal conditions, touch dry in 30 minutes, recoatable after 1-2 hours. High humidity can retard the drying time

Good coverage
I am really pleased with the staff recommendation because this is the right coverage for the wood that was purchased on the same day. It adhered to the mdf very well with its consistency and how easy it was to apply. The drying time was just like normal paint.

Quality paint for MDF
Bought this paint for MDF panelling in my bedroom, goes on perfect, excellent finish to the MDF.

Great product specically for MDF
I purchased this product to paint a new false door made from MDF to match the other doors in the living room has been a great base for the final coat of paint. First time I have used a specific primer for MDF which went on superb and excellent coverage extremely pleased with the final result

Great primer for mdf
This primer works much better on mdf than standard primers I have used in the past. Needed much less coats of paint after using this primer than after using normal wood primers

A Quality MDF primer
This covered my panelling very well and hardly needed a second coat. Didn’t sink into the MDF like some other paints I had used. Great base coat prior to finishing with choice of paint.
