Beige 01 is a neutral beige with balanced white and yellow undertones. It is the ultimate cosy colour, warming up your space and making it feel comforting and secure. Lick's matt paint has a smooth finish that is scrubbable and stain resistant. You can cover 10m² - 13m² per litre, and Lick recommends you apply two coats for maximum long-term durability - just make sure your surfaces are clean and dry before you start decorating.

- Surface Preparation - Repair any damaged surfaces and remove any old, loose or flaking paint. Clean the surface and ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, dirt, grease and wax. Smooth glossy surfaces should be lightly sanded. New plaster and cement should be allowed to dry thoroughly before application.
- Instructions for Use - Stir thoroughly and check colour before use to ensure paint is mixed evenly. Apply 1-2 coats by brush, roller or sprayer. For dramatic colour changes extra coats will be required.
- Instructions for Storage - Clean rim and replace lid firmly after use. Do not store in extremes of temperature (minimum 5°C) and protect from frost. To avoid any spills, be sure to store and transport in a secure, upright position.

Same paint different colours
I ordered 2 tins of Beige 01 Matt 2. 5L to paint a small office room. The paint arrived, same label on the front of each tin, did the first coat but was disappointed that it looked much darker than expected. Figured we would need to wait until it was dry so carried on but it was still really dark. Had a small amount left over in the first tin after the first coat so started the second coat with the rest of the first tin. Then opened the second tin and started painting and it was 3 shades lighter! Again we let it dry after doing one wall to double check and definitely a massive difference between the wall painted with the second tin and those done with the first tin. Fortunately we had enough to completely cover the room again and that the lighter shade was the one we actually wanted. But will not be purchasing again due to unreliability between tins. This paint is really expensive compared to store bought, it covers well but for that price I would expect the colours to at least match.

We have adored using the Lick colour palettes in all of rooms. Our rooms. Beige 01 in our living creates a little colour but with calmness and the perfect place to sit and relax at the end of the day. We teamed with dark woodwork to add a contrast.

Lick paint is incredible to work with, the coverage & durability are second to none, not to mention the colour choices they have to offer. Beige 01 is the holy grail - not too warm & without grey undertones, it really is the perfect beige.
