Ideal for the job I had to do
I used the saw for lots of straight and mitre cuts, I found it easy to use and it saved me a lot of time

Skirting boards
Unfortunately there is a sticky part in the action. As I start to pull it is tight and then suddenly releases , not at all smooth as I would like it to be. Merging on dangerous.

Mitre saw

Good DIY tool
You get what you pay for with this saw. It's great for DIY jobs and makes short work of laminate flooring, skirting boards and other wood that needs a quick clean cut. The laser is brilliant and ensures you cut where you intend too. But setup is fiddly and the first machine I got had to go back because the locking system for the bevel adjuster wouldn't hold. The fence is difficult to get true and the mitre scale is pretty course - mine still needs some adjustment to ensure that a 90 degree cut is really that. But for the money, its a good piece of DIY kit that works pretty well. If you want greater precision then spend a bit more.

Great kit
I bought this cross cut for doing DIY around the home, flooring, skirting, dado and cornice etc. I found it a great piece of kit especially the mitre and diagonal mitre for cornice. Love the lazer too. Now to start on the new carport, what's next...

Brilliant tool
Brought this a few weeks ago. Used at the weekend. It made light work of our decking. Can't wait to start my next project
