can't fault it

Bought this about 4 years ago & cant fault it been used to cut new inpsection hatch in floor, numerous laminating projects and cutting/making and installing new doors. still going strong - although laser alignment went south after about 6 months

The base plate was impossibly difficult because the spring was so strong it had to be held down with fingers near the cutting blade. The blade nut snapped after one change and now one part is buried in the housing. When it cut it was a nice clean quick cut but overall pretty hopeless.
Good but only for light work it seems

Used this primarily to cut stone tiles I’d bought for a feature wall. Admittedly quite a lot of stone but after a couple of weeks I’d worn it out... strange noises now, like a bearings gone or something.
Seemed very loud and rather too fast until you get used to it. With the bearing noises it’s just too scary to use now!
but the screw to change the Blade

the machine is good. but the screw to change the blade and badly ground it in the first change. and now I can work with the wood blade. I can't change the blade anymore. I do not advise anyone to buy this. pays little but is better served.
Handy little saw

It did the job it was purchased for but wow that base plate safety spring is way to strong. Once modified it was amazing.
