Perfect for home diy

Used it lots of times and not let me down and ia easy to assemble and use. You can fix the feet down and it makes it much easier. I personally think it's value for money. Not sure why the reviews are so low.

Don't bother

I bought this saw thinking it might be useful for a doing the skirting and architrave in my kitchen. The first thing I noticed was the amount of plastic and once assembled things seemed to wobble a lot. Every piece of cutting done with this has ended up as a curve rather than a straight line and everything wobbles. In addition to this the saw does not get low enough to allow cutting all the way through the item. I have wasted so much wood and time, I wish I had just bitten the bullet and bought an electric one What a load of rubbish!

Too flimsy for wood

I bought this a week ago to cut some wood skirting board. Total waste of money. The saw is too thin and flexible and would not cut a consistent straight line. Had to stop using it immediately to stop wasting wood! I thought the £20 price tag was too good to be true. unfortunately there was no higher quality alternative. Maybe fine for easy cut material but not for solid wood.

Absolute Rubbish!

Followed the instructions to the letter, bolted to my bench and it’s really hard to use, so difficult to cut 45o bevels, even when you try both horizontal or vertical for your material. Blade properly tensioned and all other checks made. It won’t even cut in a straight line! And yes I checked the blade tension. Do not waste your time and invest your money on a hire power tool. Value based on what I was prepared to spend on a one off job.

Beware using on skirting boards

I purchased this saw to cut mitres on skirting board. I found that even after multiple attempts all I achieved was a constant squint cut. This tool is poorly engineered and despite being advertised as one of it's 'Features and Benefits' is poorly suited for cutting mitres. This saw is destined for the scrap yard and I gave it one star purely because it did actually cut the wood !

Disappointed

Far too flimsy to get decent cutting angles, the frame work is far too tall allowing the blade to wander as it cuts. Used it once today and it will be going back in the box.

Awful Product

I bought this saw a month ago, to fit my skirting boards. My old one had seen better days but this was far from even getting close. Very unstable and the saw couldn't cut through butter. If I kept my receipt I would want my money back!

Doesn't cut straight

I challenge anyone to find a more useless too for the money, it cuts terribly, not straight and fiddle to use. It is not worth it's weight in scrap and would be more use for mixing cement. I rarely talked stuff back but this is on it's way back on to a shelf near you, please leave it there.

Don't Do It!

This may be the worst purchase I have ever made. They are flimsy and extremely difficult to use. In the end we borrowed a powered mitre saw and I would suggest that if you need to do some mitring and you can't afford one, hire one for the day. It will save you time and frustration.
