Battery not charging
Bought this product a year ago and purchased the battery and charger at the same time. It worked really well to start with but now the battery is not charging properly. We don’t know whether it’s the battery or the charger that’s at fault. When you plug it in to charge the red and green lights flash alternately, then go out, which according to the manual means there is a fault. I have looked to see if we can buy a new battery pack but can’t find one anywhere! So now the mower is now useless.

Broken trigger
I’ve had this a couple of years now and it has been really good to use. One of the trigger handles broke and the other has gone too rendering the mower useless. I expect a mower to last 10 years so I’m very disappointed in the product. To compound matters I can’t find anyone who keeps spare parts for the brand. I will buy a well known brand in future as spares are readily available.

Excellent Lawnmower
I've used my MacAllister cordless lawnmower for 3 seasons now. It has been excellent. I am really amazed at the comments about not having a battery included. It is very clear that this product is "bare" i.e. needs a battery & charger to be added. That is why the price is so low. I also bought the chainsaw & grass strimmer (also Bare)...they use the same battery. . .. its interchangeable. That is why manufacturers now sell bare products...they are environmentally better & save on cost. I actually bought 2 batteries & it is good to have a back up but not really needed even for my large lawn (unless I have let the grass grow too long before cutting it in which case I do sometimes need the 2nd battery to complete the cut). The only critisism I have is one of the wheels occasionally falls off ...this is a new development that started just at the end of the last cutting season. It easily re-attaches but falls off occassionally, somewhat spoiling an otherwise excellent product.

Barking - no battery or charger
I spent some time in store only to discover that the battery and charger are not included AND not stocked by any B&Q store. Even worse I'm told the battery and charger cost almost as much as the mower. This is terrible, it really must be withdrawn until you sort this out.

Cordless mower
I bought this mower 3 years ago,and mines worked great,got this from b and q in the winter when they were selling it off at 63 pound with no battery,and got the battery and charger for 30 pound,overall a great deal so got two chargers lol,one fully charged battery will easily cut a lawn 30 feet by 60 hope this helps,and I would buy again if needed at full price if I ever needed a new one.

Wheels fall off
Bought this for cutting the times when grass is longer and use a Flymo for shorter grass. Used it 10-20 times and the wheel has fallen off. Mounded plastic means there is no way to reaffix the wheel so now useless.

Don't Buy
Well after unpacking the Lawnmower and putting it altogether, I find that there is no battery or charger, only to be told by customer services they are not available. So in actual fact I have bought an ornament. Absolutely fuming, and to add insult to injury was offered a £10 gift voucher well thankyou very much B & Q. this item should be withdrawn until a battery can be supplied. Just wasted my time and effort.
