rubbish
do NOT BUY mcaallister mowers Whilst they are a great little mower you cannot buy spares for it. unless it is a blade.

Useless
Do not buy this lawnmower. Will not cut the grass. Continually cuts outs, and when you get the mower running and put on the grass it goes about 2 foot if you are lucky and then cuts out again. Won’t cut at lowest level overall a waste on money. Do not recommend. Only adds to stress levels.

Battery charger failed so unusable
I have bought 2 of these lawnmowers approx 1 year apart. I inadvertently snapped the power cable while folding the handle so I bought a replacement. So now I have 2 charger packs & 4 batteries. Only problem is neither charger works any more. The red light just blinks so even though I have 4 batteries & 2 chargers, I have a lawnmower I cannot use. Stay away!

Nice machine but batteries hard to replace
Replacement batteries are hard to get one failed to charge in first year.

Great apart from a battery
Love this lawnmower but unfortunately one of the batteries has only lasted a few charges and B&Q can't do anything apart from potentially change the whole lawnmower because the batteries don't come separately :-/

Worst machine ever
Bought this machine 2 years ago as I wanted a cordless machine. The collector at the back does not sit properly, the battery only does one ‘medium’ lawn and the unit is ‘to high’ to just go under things (the height handle is too tall. The machine keeps running even when you and not holding the handles! I hate this machine every time I cut the grass- hence back on here looking for another one.

Quick to assemble, quick to use
Didn't take long to assemble and luckily it comes with 2 batteries already to go. Unfortunately it doesn't last long on the battery but to be honest I was cutting long, damp grass so if dry it may have been better. I have a huge garden and managed what is normally a two day job in under one so for that I was pleased. I need to keep clearing the chamber where the cut grass gets flung into the gathering receptacle as it often chokes up but that's not a major issue. Overall 3.5 - 4/ 5 I'd say. Decent enough for the money and two batteries makes a difference. Also doesn't take long to charge one up so charge while you cut. Efficiency.

Batteries life is a laugh
First time I used it, it was great. Batteries lasted for both gardens and with some power left in the last one. A week later they didn't go nearly as far. 10 maybe 15 minutes on each. Very disappointed. Just get a corded or petrol one.

Brilliant
I am really surprised how good this lawnmower is. Love having no cords and it's also easy to put together. It cut the time of my usual cut by half.
